Round Goby
The Round Goby possesses extraordinary senses that allows it to detect water movement and feed in complete darkness. This fish eats insects and snails, but its primary food source is zebra mussels. In fact, the Round Goby has been known to eat at as many as 70 zebra mussels per day! Large populations of the Round Goby are found throughout the Great Lakes, most notably in Lake Erie and Lake Ontario.
